Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. Scope

This policy describes requests for cancellations, refunds and corrections of food orders placed directly with Taste of India. Orders placed through an independent delivery platform may also have a separate customer support process; your mandatory legal rights still apply.

2. Cancelling an Order

If you need to cancel an order, contact the branch handling it immediately using the numbers below and give your name and order reference. If the restaurant has not begun preparing the food, cancellation may be possible. Once food preparation has started, a change-of-mind refund may not be available for perishable or made-to-order items, where an applicable legal exception permits this. We will assess the order's actual status and applicable law.

3. When to Contact Us About a Problem

Please contact us promptly if an accepted order was not delivered, an item is missing or incorrect, food appears unsafe or materially below the agreed description, or a duplicate payment was taken. Provide the order number (if available), contact number, date, what went wrong and any useful supporting information. Photos can help but are not always necessary.

4. Available Remedies

Where a problem is confirmed or legal rights apply, the appropriate remedy may be a replacement, supply of missing items, correction, partial refund or full refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable Georgian consumer protection law. A blanket 'no refunds on food' rule does not apply to faulty or nonconforming orders.

5. Delivery and Collection

Delivery estimates may be affected by traffic, weather and order volumes. If an order does not arrive or delivery is significantly delayed, contact the branch promptly. If an incorrect address or unavailable recipient causes a delivery problem, we will assess the circumstances fairly. For collection orders, please confirm the collection branch and timing.

6. Refund Method and Timing

Any refund due will be arranged without undue delay, using the original payment method where practicable, or another lawful agreed method. Bank or payment-provider posting times can vary. If a statutory withdrawal right applies to a particular transaction, the statutory reimbursement timeline will be respected.

7. Third-Party Delivery Orders

For an order placed using a separate delivery app, you may also need to use that app's order support channel. You can contact Taste of India about the food supplied by our restaurant; responsibilities depend on the actual order arrangement and applicable law.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or reduces non-excludable consumer rights under Georgian law, including remedies for products or services that do not conform to the agreement.
